Do you know that your new Sprint or Verizon iPhone 4S are already unlocked for GSM network? That means you can simply purchase a local sim card when travel oversea and save hundreds of dollars on the roaming fees. Sprint will sell iPhone 4S with micro-SIM slot unlocked. However, for Verizon Wireless customers you will have to wait 60 days to request “International unlock” provided that your account is good standing.

AT&T customers, sorry, your brand new iPhone 4S is not unlocked – you are still forced to pay AT&T’s roaming charges. So rather than paying for international roaming Sprint and Verizon iPhone 4S customers traveling internationally can take advantage of the new unlocked feature and get dramatically cheaper rate with a pre-paid micro-SIM card for data and voice calling. Apple store sells unlocked iPhone 4 for $649 while Verizon Wireless and Sprint offer iPhone 4S 16GB at $199. So price is huge advantage too. The only downside is that you will be using a local number instead of the one in the U.S. Make sure to let your family and friends know about the new number.

In case you are not too crazy about the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S, here is something else you might want to check out – the new LG Marquee is on sale now for $99.99. It’s powered by the latest Android OS 2.3 “Gingerbread” and has a 1GHz processor and 4 inch touch screen. Although it’s not the most advanced smartphone in Sprint’s fall lineup the entry price is pretty attractive. Other smartphones with slightly larger screen usually go for $200. The built-in rear camera has 5 megapixels for high quality pictures and the front-facing camera has 2 megapixels for video chatting. One feature not available with any other wireless carriers is Sprint ID. It’s a user-friendly new means of customizing Android content on mobile phones. LG Marquee users can instantly download ID packs that deliver a predefined experience including applications, widgets, ringtones, and wall papers all at once. With cool features like these an inexpensive price the new LG Marquee is something you should consider when choosing a new Android phone. Try to looking elsewhere online and see the LG Marquee for sale can be any cheaper at other authorized retailers. Good luck.

Apple fans will have the choice of getting either the iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S from Sprint on October 14 (preorder starts on October 7). But now comes the question – does Sprint offer unlimited data plan on iPhone 4S? Yes! It will be the only carrier offer unlimited iPhone data plan in the US. That’s one more reason to switch to Sprint with perks like Any Mobile Anytime plan. For those of you who really wish for a 4G iPhone – I am sure will come next year. The original iPhone 4 design is incredibly pleasing. IMHO there is really nothing on the exterior need to be changed at this time. A faster iPhone with 8 megapixel camera is good enough for me to upgrade for now. Besides, Sprint plans are cheaper than those from AT&T and Sprint. free GPS navigation is already included in the rate plan. Like every new iPhone release, the demand is extremely high so set your alarm at 12:01am Pacific Time to be one the first to pre-order online and enjoy unlimited data on iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S.

For budget-minded users Sprint.com currently has the all new Samsung Conquer 4G listed for $99.99 after instant discount and mail-in rebates. That’s the best budget 4G phone in my opinion. What matters the most to me is browsing speed. Samsung Conquer 4G is built on Android 2.3 and powered by a 1GHz processor. Although it doesn’t have the most advanced processor in today’s market what you will get is a smartphone that runs faster than a dual core processor running on a 3G network. Why limit yourself to Wi-Fi hotspots? Share your wireless 4G connection with up to 5 Wi-Fi devices at the same time. While many other smartphones now come with 4 inch or large screens, I personally prefer the 3.5 inch touchscreen. It feels just right on you palm and easy to hold when making phone calls. With Everything Data plan you can get unlimited text, web, email, GPS, and more for a low monthly price. Do you think Samsung Conquer is the best Budget 4G Phone? Leave a comment and let us know.

Sprint’s rate plans always include extra stuff like GPS and Mobile TV that you would normally have to pay extra with other carriers. And now Sprint is offering 300 bonus Anytime Minutes with an Everything Data 450 plan. That’s 750 minutes per month. Keep in mind that you are getting unlimited domestic calls to and from any U.S. mobile phone on any wireless carrier whenever you’re on the Sprint network. That means calls to or from any of the nation’s more than 250 million wireless callers will not count against your plan’s anytime minutes. Isn’t that cool? So basically the 750 will be used on calling to and from any landlines. But seriously, how many people actually use their landline as a primary phone at home? Besides, the unlimited nights calling start at 7pm. I doubt any of you will need more than 750 minutes a month. This bonus 300 minutes offer is valid for a limited time only. We are not sure when it will end. If you do like Sprint and thinking about switching over for the latest 4G phones. Take advantage of this offer now. In case you need even more minutes to use. There is an unlimited everything plan for you too from Sprint.

Sprint doesn’t carry very few phones made by Motorola. In fact, Motorola only made full-featured or Walkie-Talkie phones for Sprint. But that’s going to change for good. Sprint will have the all new Motorola Photon for sale this summer. The Photon is very similar to the AT&T Atrix. Both phones feature a qHD display and 16GB internal memory. Actually it’s much more than that. The Motorola Photon is CDMA world phone – you can use Sprint’s 3G and 4G network. The Photon has some advantages over the Atrix 4G. First is the camera. The Photon has 8 megapixels onboard while the Motorola Atrix has 5 megapixels. The Photon is slightly large due to the large 4.3 inch screen vs. 4 inch on the Atrix. The Sprint Photon has a built-in kickstand for watching movies and videos. There are bunch of accessories to make this new gadget work like a netbook or GPS. Do you need all of them. The phone itself is pretty amazing on Sprint’s 4G network. Will keep you posted when it officially goes on sale.

June 24th is the date you will see Sprint launching the new HTC EVO 3D. Sure 3D sounds exciting and looks cool. This device will cost you $250 to $300 after rebates. Is 3D cell phone worth buying at all? First, the 3D smartphones that are being released this year or in the future don’t require you to wear 3D glasses. But the disadvantage is that you will have to view from a right angle to see the perfect 3D images. Secondly, where can you find all the 3D contents to watch? There is basically not much for TVs, let alone for cell phones. Of course, you can still take 3D pictures and videos using the handset and view it on a 3D TV. What if you don’t have 3D TV? Then it’s another big item you need to buy. For most of us, a large screen smartphone is great for watching movies and browsing the web. 3D or not is really not that important at this point since there is so little 4D content available. To me, it’s just fancy toy to show off, not worth the money at this point. What do you think?

Sprint has just released Samsung Trender, a touchscreen phone that’s made of recycling materials. Although it’s not full-fledged like other Android smartphones, the Samsung Trender does come with a full QWERTY keyboard and it’s great for text messaging. Hey, saving the environment can be cool too – you can choose from two bright colors to show off. Amethyst and Sapphire. Doing something good can save you money each month. Unlike all other smartphones from Sprint, there is no Premium Data Feature required for the Samsung Trender green phone. Visit Sprint.com to find out more.

Smartphones are not cheap these days, be ready to shell out $200 or more for an advanced Android phone. If you don’t have enough money and still want to buy a cheap Android phone, your choice will be limited to refurbished ones or something with low-end specs. Don’t expect any of the 4G phones to cost less than $150. Even the new Sprint 4G phones start at $200 or more at local stores (you maybe find $50 elsewhere online). On the other hand, you will find the Pantech Crossover for AT&T selling for only $70. Should you buy the cheap Android phone? It looks like you are saving $130 vs. a HTC EVO 4G. Are you really getting a better deal? Not at all. First the Pantech Crossover is cheap for a reason – it has a 600 MHz processor while most of the newly introduced Android smartphones have at least 1 GHz, some even have dual cores. Smaller screen and less 3 megapixel camera that’s only available on basic flip phones. In other words you are really getting what you are paying for. For those who are looking for a full-featured phone, buying a cheap Android phone is no brainer since they cost pretty much the same and both require data plans. But if you are thinking to have the fastest and best Android phone they don’t want penny-pincher. Every penny you spend on that shiny and bright Android phone is worth it!
