If you have choose one phone from T-Mobile today regardless the price point, what would it be? I would certainly pick the Samsung Galaxy S II 4G. First it’s the latest Android phone with the largest and the highest resolution screen. Forget about myTouch 4G or other smartphones, because TMobile Black Friday 2011 will save you more money no matter which phone you buy. Of course the phone great for you not necessarily is good enough for me. Not too long ago I was considering HTC HD7, a Windows 7 phone. After doing some research I found there are not that many apps available. The app market is much smaller than Android Market and Blackberry App World. Price wise it’s not the most expensive smartphone at all. The interface is surprisingly easy to use. However, if you are used to IOS you might find the screen a little overcrowded with all the social networking updates.

Another great TMobile Black Friday deal is the Sidekick 4G Slide. This one is going to be hot among teenagers. The Sidekick 4G has been totally redesigned from ground up and now looks and feels much better than the original Sidekick. For those who don’t know Sidekick – it’s one of the first premium text messaging and versatile smartphone exclusively offered on TMobile’s network. It’s was the most popular texting phone among young people. I personally owned the original Sidekick before switching to Android. My 2 choices are Galaxy S II 4G and the new myTouch Black (much cheaper). Will let you know early next week about my final decision.

If you want the fastest Android smartphone what would it be? The new Samsung Galaxy S II 4G is the only smartphone you need. And it’s on sale now from T-Mobile for $229.99. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 Processor with 1.5GHz dual CPUs and Android 2.3.5, the Galaxy S II is the most advanced smartphone from TMobile. With average download speeds approaching 8 Mbps and peak speeds of over 22 Mbps on T-Mobile’s 4G network you will find this little device a faster web browser than you home internet service. Besides being a super speedy smartphone you will also love the 4.52 inch Super AMOLED Plus touch screen. It’s the largest smartphone display in the market today – great for watching movies and TV shows on the go. Catch high quality HD pictures and videos with 8 megapixel camera and share with friends instantly. Or better yet, chat with friends face-to-face with the 2 megapixel front-facing camera. You simply will not get the same experience on any other Android smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy S II is on sale now for $229 with a new 2-year agreement. Sure you can get something like HTC Sensation 4G for $30 or even more with Exhibit 4G. But I can you that the Galaxy S II is worth every penny you pay for.

A number of rumors have pointed to that T-Mobile will indeed get the iPhone 4S or iPhone 5 in October 2011. I have doubt that iPhone will eventually be available on every major wireless carrier in North America. Given the increasing popularity of the iPhone, there are already over one million iPhone users on its network, even though they are still stuck at 2G speed. And there were report that iPhone prototype was being tested with T-Mobile USA 3G bands back April. Truth or not, we are all anxious to find out and consumers are poised to be the biggest winners as they will be able to select from 4 carriers instead of 2! Oh if TMobile offer $99.99 unlimited data, talk, and text plan for 2 lines of iPhone 5 I will be definitely onboard. And you can add 3 additional for $15 each. An entire iPhone family account of 5 lines only cost $145 – a better deal than unlimited plans they introduced a few months back. What else can you ask for?

There are more places you can buy new prepaid T-Mobile phones. 7-Eleven is the first convenience retailers to offer TMobile Pay As You Go phones There is no doubts that prepaid phones are cheaper when you factor in the monthly saving and the freedom of not having to be locked into a 24-month contract. Now you can buy T-Mobile’s prepaid phones at all 7-Eleven locations at any time. The sleek, pocket-size LG GS170 is priced at $29.99. It’s an excellent value phone that packs a VGA camera, MP3 ringtone capability, Bluetooth 2.1, text and picture messaging capability, and email support. Now through the end of August, you can get the LG GS170 for $14.99 with the purchase of a $50 airtime card at 7-Eleven stores. That’s 50% off the regular price! Expect more phones, including Android smartphones at a 7-Eleven store near you in the coming months.

Should you buy a T-Mobile Micro SIM card and use it on iPhone 4? It’s on sale now on T-Mobile.com with a 2-year contract. The interesting part is that the suggested retail price is only $9.99. You are only saving $10 but you have to be tied up with the same carrier for 2 years! Totally not worth it. As far as I know the only devices that use micro SIM card are Nokia N9, iPhone 4, and iPad 2. And I am not sure you can get 3G speed when you plug in the card to iPhone 4. And who really wants to be with stream music and videos over 2.5G EDGE network? If you absolutely want to buy the TMobile Micro SIM card, pay the retail price. $10 is a small price to pay considered you will have to pay $200 or more to end the contract early.

Phones are cheap these days, many of them are free out of pocket if we you are willing to commit to a 2-year contract. However, not many plans offer the low month rates. With essential features like text/video message, data, email, and GPS navigation, you will be shocked on how much you will have to pay each month, especially you have multiple smartphone lines that require data plans. T-Mobile will introduce a new Value Plan on July 24th to make their 4G phones even more affordable. You will be able to get two lines with unlimited talk, text, and 2GB of data for $49.99 each line. That’s basically $100. The closest competing plan from Sprint is priced at $79.99 and doesn’t include unlimited calling. You are saving $40 a month compared to the similar Sprint plan. That’s $960 saving over the course of 2-year contract. The new TMobile Value Plan is unbelievably affordable. There is no other carriers can beat this rate right now. The only concern I have is that T-Mobile won’t offer as much device discount as they used to. Hey, depending on the phone you are getting you might be much better off paying retail prices and get the value plans together.

Some of us don’t need data access all day long on cell phones, especially those on a T-Mobile prepaid Go Phone? So, what happens if you need to go browse the web or check emails on your phone? Well, you can use something called Web DayPass from T-Mobile. For only $1.5, you will get unlimited 24-hour mobile web access. Use this with Pay-As-You-Go, or with a monthly 4G plan if you need more data than is included in your selected plan. Service is available for 30 days on monthly plans and 90 days (one year for Gold Rewards status) after activation/ refill on Pay-As-You-Go plan. If you use the service every day, T-Mobile Web Day Pass can be a bit more expensive than something like $30 unlimited data on a contract phone. However, it is a convenient way to stay connected with friends and family as most of us will only use it occasionally like once or twice a week.
