Open you phone bill and there shouldn’t be any surprise that the majority of the monthly plan minutes have been consumed by you teenage kids. Worried about over usage and getting charged by the service provider for minutes over the plan, how many minutes are enough for them each month? First thing first, talk to your kids and estimate how much talk time they need every month. But don’t spoil them. Set a reasonable limit. Make sure they understand that they are responsible for over usage.
You can adjust your rate plan at the end of month based on your actually usage. Generally, the more expensive plan gives you more peak time minutes. Another option you have for adding more minutes without upgrading to a new plan is to opt for 7pm or 6pm for night minutes so that you can start unlimited talk earlier. Typical unlimited nights start at 9pm, you will gain extra 3 hours each day for just a few dollars more. Keep in mind that all the lines in a family plan will benefit from this feature.
These changes still don’t offer enough minutes you teenage kids? Then stay tuned for upcoming posts to talk about this topic.
