Is Palm Pixi Better Than BlackBerry Curve

Both Palm Pixi and BlackBerry Curve are currently offered by Sprint at $99 and $49 respectively. So, is Palm Pixi better than BlackBerry Curve? Given the fact that the Pixi was recently released and the Curve has been out for a while already, there is no doubt that Palm Pixi use more up to date hardware and software. BlackBerry has been known for providing the best mobile email solution. Syncing with personal or enterprise emails should be effortless with every Blackberry. But that doesn’t mean Palm Pixi can’t do the same. In fact testing with personal emails like GMail, Yahoo, and Hotmail, I found them very smooth to use, especially when you do it with a full QWERTY keyboard plus touch screen. Deleting and moving emails between folders are truly effortless with just a tap and swipe.

So, is Palm Pixi better than Blackberry Curve? Definitely yes, if you are using it for entertainment and personal emails. In addition to emails, there is just so much to do with the Palm Pixi – browsing web, watching Mobile TV on 400 x 320 Pixel screen, which is much better than Curve’s 240 x 260 pixel resolution. For corporate emails, I still think the Curve can do a slightly better job with proven track records of enterprise support. Overall, for the prices you are paying, go with the Palm Pixi.

Well I’ve had the Palm Pixi for a lil over 2 mnths now & I’m ready to switch to another phone already. It’s sluggish alot, battery isn’t so great & it’s load slow alot of times. My screen often gets stuck & I’m not a rough user. The great thing about this phone is that you can link so many accts together. You can view html email & it’s got great web surfing ability. Downloading ringtones is hard, you basically have to do it on a computer. In all the reviews I’ve read on numerous websites, they recommend the Palm Pre. The buttons are small & can be frustrating. I’m looking for a lil more advanced phone.
