New Android Phones for Holiday 2011

There are more cool Android phones coming to 2011 holiday season. AT&T already has 5 new Android phones lined up to be released as early this month. One of the high-end smartphone many of us have been waiting for is the Atrix 2. The original Motorola Atrix is currently one of top sellers. Combined powerful 1 GHz dual core processor and 4G speeds, the new AT&T Atrix 2 is not your ordinary smartphone – record 1080p HD videos and display them on any HD monitor with an HDMI cable. Talk about versatility, you can even use the optional HD Station and browse the web on any size HD Monitor.

Samsung Captivate Glide is another one coming to stores soon. This decently speed Android smartphone has 4 inch Super AMOLED display, Android 2.3, a 1GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 CPU. And it’s capable of running on 21Mbps HSPA+. Available for $99 without rebate on October 16. This might the best and cheapest smartphone with full QWERTY keyboard for this holiday shopping season.

Other interesting devices include Samsung DoubleTime – a clamshell QWERTY device with two capacitive touch screens; Pantech Pocket, which offers a candybar Android 2.3 experience with a unique aspect ratio; AT&T Avail – only available through pre-paid plans. This device features a 3.5-inch touch screen, 5- megapixel camera and runs on Android 2.3 OS. AT&T Avail provides an affordable option for customers seeking the Android smartphone experience while still maintaining control of their usage and monthly bill.
