Every single penny counts when it comes to saving money. You will realize how much money you can save on cell phone bills if you do some of the following two steps:
First, know you monthly plan minute well. How much talk time is included in your wireless plan? Surprisingly, many people thought they have enough minutes to talk all they want but end up receiving a surprising cell phone bill at the end of month. view your wireless bills carefully, especially for the first few month after you get your new plan. You will have to adjust to the plan limit or upgrade to a plan that offers more anytime minutes.
Second, do you really need data plan that cost $30 a month that you actually use at home (while there is Internet access available)? Think twice before signing a data plan, because they can cost more you think if you don’t have the right one. But what if you do want a data plan, which one should you get? Go for unlimited data. Why? Cheaper in the long run. If you go by per MB of data, you can easily go over the monthly fee you would pay for unlimited data plan after checking weathers and emails a few times a day. Yup, trust me, I’ve been there and done that. If you have pay per use data plan and go over the limit, call customer service and ask to upgrade to unlimited data. Very likely they will credit you back some money just because you add on more features to the plan.
Of course there are more ways to save money on cell phone bills. Will show you more in future posts.
